For 29 years, Gio has loved specializing in color, highlights, and haircuts.  After graduating from Cosmetology School, he went to work at Natural Hair Design under Per Madsen and Kanu Patel.  There he learned the skills to keeping your hair in the best possible condition while doing color.  Gio has a flair for creating stunning and fashionable hair, using his expert knowledge of cutting, coloring, and styling techniques. He is always on the lookout for new and exciting trends and products, and he loves to experiment with different looks and colors.  His top priority is to maintain the integrity of the hair during color or highlights.  He is always in a positive mood.  He has a great sense of humor and loves to provide a fun experience while you are in his chair.  Even after many years of styling, he still enjoys every time he makes a client's day.  When Gio is not transforming hair into art, he loves taking care of his fruit trees, keeping his lawn trim and green, showing his dogs, and Boxing.  Gio is always ready to give you a fresh new look! 

Michelle is a hair artist with a decade of experience and a lifelong passion for beauty.  She thrives on making her clients look and feel their absolute best, all while delivering ultimate relaxation.  She is an expert in precision cutting and low maintenance color (specializing in blondes) and always prioritizes your hair’s health.  As well as being a hairstylist, Michelle is a dedicated wife and mother. She loves spending time and building memories with her family when she is not in the Salon.

Kylie is a cosmetologist with a specialty in hair color, highlighting, and balayage. Growing up in a salon, she has been around the industry since she was very young. This has fueled her desire to understand and learn the science behind hair. Kylie’s ability to see a person’s natural beauty is demonstrated through her ability to enhance one’s personality through creative hair color and style.  Kylie spends her free time with her family including her two cats, shopping, listening to podcasts, and enjoying creative ways to decorate her home.

Mikayla is a senior stylist, who enjoys the versatility and creativity that comes with doing hair. She is a stay-at-home mom during the week, and practices her passion for hair on Saturdays. With 6+years of experience she has found that bridal hair and up-styling is where she shines most. That being said, she is a girl who dips her paint brush into a little bit of everything which includes cutting, color, and natural highlighting/balayage. Mikayla is someone who listens intuitively, gives realistic feed back, and makes a personalized plan of action to each and every one of her clients. Although being a mom takes up majority of her time she always makes time to educate, learn, and stay up to date on the latest trends, for hair and fashion, as she believes the two things go hand in hand. She is so eager to meet all of the amazing people who find their new hair home at Salon Martin. 

Krislyn is a Goldwell certified colorist and a talented hairstylist with over six years of experience in the San Antonio area. She has a passion for creating beautiful and personalized hair colors using the balayage technique, which involves hand-painting highlights and lowlights for a natural and dimensional look. She also offers keratin complex treatments, haircuts, and styling services to her clients, who appreciate her attention to detail and friendly personality. Krislyn works hopes to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment for her customers.

Alma is a licensed esthetician and a valued member of the Salon Martin team. She has a passion for helping her clients achieve beautiful and healthy skin. She has over 25 years of experience in the esthetics field, including working with a dermatologist for over two years. She has also completed continuing education courses in esthetics in Las Vegas, Nevada, Beverly Hills, California and Houston, Texas. She is always learning new techniques and staying updated on the latest trends and products in the industry. Alma was born in Mexico and is fluent in Spanish and English. She loves to communicate with her clients and understand their needs and preferences. She offers a range of services, such as facials, waxing, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and more. Alma is also a proud grandmother who enjoys spending time with her grandkids. She is a positive and friendly person who loves God and life.
